Dermot Butler
Director

Dermot Butler, who was born in 1941, has over 40 years experience in the financial services industry.

Early in 1989 Dermot Butler moved to Dublin and established the Custom House Group of Companies, a global fund administration company.

As well as appearing as an expert witness and testifying on regulatory matters, Dermot Butler is a regular speaker at international conferences and has authored numerous articles on hedge funds. He is a director of a number of companies, several of which are listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, including Irish regulated funds, organized and/or managed amongst others, Abbey National, BNP Fauchier, GE Capital & JP Morgan.

Dermot is married, with one daughter, two stepsons, three grandchildren and two dogs. He lives in Wicklow, near Newtownmountkennedy, from where he commutes to Dublin each morning.
